In Persia, when a child’s first tooth sets, the family cooks this delicious recipe, and distributes it between family and neighbors. It is a super simple dish using only: Baked whole wheat, Baked white chickpeas, Almonds, Raisins, Cinnamon powder, honey (optional).
Dishlkh (=for teeth):
Baked whole wheat 500gr
Baked white chickpeas 200gr
Fried Onion 1(big)
Turmeric powder 1teaspoon (if you like, you can add more)
Cinnamon powder 1teaspoon
Black pepper 1.2teaspoon or less
Salt 1.2teaspoon or less
Water 1 glass
Raisins 100gr
Almonds (or Blanched almonds) 100gr
Vegetable margarine or olive oil the required amount
